History

Our organization traces its beginnings back to mid-February, 2022. Leo Nagel, Raditya Saraf, and Samuel J. Siojo came together to start the organization, with Arya Lal Gonullu joining very soon. The Global Society of Young Physicists Community Interest Company was incorporated on April 22, 2022, marking the official founding of our organization, with Leo initially appointed as Chief Executive. In July of 2024, Arya Lal replaced Leo in his position in recognition of her leading role in the editions of the Research Mentorship Programme from 2022 through 2024.
